The piece, Microcosmos vegetal, is a sculptural piece that is placed on the wall and seeks to contextualize the pictorial material and reposition it in the composition of the exhibition, in order to find a new discourse for the medium. A sculpture composed of methacrylate, petris plates and pigment encapsulated in epoxy is proposed in which the pigment goes from being a medium to being an object, as the protagonist of the composition, in addition to reevaluating the pigment for its own agency (dasein) and materiality, it is presented as a link between the universal and the concrete, creating a literal link between the cosmos and vegetable matter. Through this discourse, the piece is presented to the viewer from its aesthetic and striking position, claiming the attention of the public through the use of lights that turn the work into a neon sign, seeking to highlight the aesthetics and visual capacity of the materials used, contrasting the organic, the natural with the artificial.
