O Múltiple que ocupa o espazo

[The multiple that occupies the space]

VIII Foro Internacional de Creación en la Frontera: El múltiple que ocupa el espacio [2024]

The multiple that occupies the space is a large and ambitious project that was developed in Galicia between May 8 and June 30, 2024. Counting with the presence of national and international artists, the group dx5 digital and graphic art research proposed a multi-site activity that would occupy not only the halls and walls of the city of Pontevedra, Galicia, but also public spaces. Closing one of the main lines of research of the team, the Múltiple consisted of 4 simultaneous exhibitions (Simbiosis in O Pazo da Cultura; Resonancias in the Sala Fundación RAC; Xerminal in the Sala Universitaria Profesor Manuel Moldes and Interferencias in the public spaces of Pontevedra), as well as a series of Conferences developed between May 8-10 in A Casa das Campás, Pontevedra. The main objective of the project, co-commissioned with Vaciocero, Concello de Pontevedra, Universidade de Vigo and the members of the dx5 group, was to dynamize and bring multiple and expanded contemporary art closer to the public.
