What doesn’t belong here is an artistic experiment, a scientific project, a site specific research developed in Genk, Belgium in 2022.

Addressing the question of Invasive Alien Plant Species and focusing on Fallopia japonica plant, during the research stay I worked around Social, cultural, economical, material, emotional and sensitive implications of this concept (IAS) and to express it trough experimental research and art creation.
The material exploration allow to test paper possibilities, ink extraction and lake pigment precipitation processes with Fallopia japonica raw matter.
